With a premium share of 53% and a premium volume of CHF 3.8 billion,
Baloise Switzerland is the Group’s largest operational unit. As a financial
service provider, Baloise Switzerland is one of the country’s leading solution
suppliers in insurance and pension matters for individual customers as well
as small and medium-sized enterprises. Switzerland’s fourth-biggest insurer
is headquartered in Basel and employs a staff of around 3,600. Of these,
1,500 work in the sales force. Insurance solutions are ideally supplemented
by the products and services of Baloise Bank SoBa.
